Description

Quick and delicious fish tacos made in an air fryer, topped with a zesty slaw and lime.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the fish in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until flaky.
  5. While the fish is cooking, prepare the slaw by mixing cabbage, cilantro, mayonnaise, and lime juice in a bowl.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing fish on tortillas and topping with zesty slaw.
  8. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the slaw.
  • Use any white fish like tilapia or cod.
  • Can substitute corn tortillas with flour tortillas if preferred.
