- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup red and blue M&M’s
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the M&M’s and white chocolate chips.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookie cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Decorate with additional M&M’s and frosting if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a festive touch, use red, white, and blue sprinkles on top.
- This cookie cake can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
