Description

A healthier version of the classic Chicken Parmesan, made in an air fryer for a crispy texture with fewer calories.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts inside.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
