Description

Delicious and easy-to-make churro bites coated in cinnamon sugar, made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in flour until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat.
  3. Let it cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  5. Pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place churro bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll the churro bites in the mixture while still warm.
