Description
Delicious heart-shaped donuts made in an air fryer, topped with a sweet pink glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1–2 drops pink food coloring
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe heart shapes onto parchment paper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the heart-shaped donuts in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- While the donuts cool, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and food coloring.
- Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and let them set.
Notes
- Ensure the air fryer is preheated for even cooking.
- Adjust the food coloring to achieve your desired shade of pink.
- Store leftover donuts in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
