Description

Air Fryer Kung Pao Chicken is a simplified version of the classic Asian dish, featuring tender chicken, crunchy vegetables, and a spicy sauce, all cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the diced chicken with soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes, add the bell pepper and broccoli to the basket and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir in the peanuts and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional peanuts if desired.
