Ingredients

- 4 cups of cubed bread
- 2 cups of diced apples
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and diced apples.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the milk mixture over the bread and apples, and stir to combine.
- If using, fold in the raisins.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
- Can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
