Description

A delicious Apple Crumb Cake topped with a sweet cinnamon apple drizzle, perfect for dessert or a cozy afternoon treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the crumb topping, then cut in the butter until crumbly.
  9. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the batter in the pan.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before drizzling with cinnamon apple drizzle.
