  • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 package of pie crusts (2 crusts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and fill it with the peach mixture.
  4. Dot the filling with small pieces of butter.
  5. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges and cutting slits in the top for steam to escape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
