A hearty and flavorful soup that captures the essence of a classic bacon cheeseburger without the bun.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the diced potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with crispy bacon.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
