Description

A delicious and creamy cheesecake topped with a crunchy strawberry layer, perfect for dessert lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  8. In a saucepan, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar, and cook until the strawberries are soft.
  9. Once the cheesecake is cooled, top it with the strawberry mixture.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Top with additional fresh strawberries for garnish if desired.
