- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook until browned.
- Add onions, carrots, celery, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Add frozen peas and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For a thicker soup, add more flour.
- Can substitute chicken with rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
