Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, blueberries, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the cream cheese mixture over it, and roll it up tightly.
  8. Twist the rolled dough and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  9. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
