- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, egg, Cajun seasoning, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
