Description

Cajun Meatloaf is a flavorful twist on the classic comfort food, infused with spices that bring a kick to your dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, egg, Cajun seasoning, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for extra flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
