Description
A delicious and healthy gluten-free pizza made with a cauliflower crust, topped with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil.

- 1 medium cauliflower head
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella slices
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
- Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until they resemble rice.
- Steam the riced cauliflower for about 5 minutes, then let it cool.
- Once cooled, squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, spread marinara sauce on top, and add fresh mozzarella slices.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to squeeze out as much moisture as possible from the cauliflower for a crispier crust.
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings.
- This pizza is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
