Description

A delicious and healthy gluten-free pizza made with a cauliflower crust, topped with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower head
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella slices
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
  3. Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor until they resemble rice.
  4. Steam the riced cauliflower for about 5 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. Once cooled, squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  6. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, spread marinara sauce on top, and add fresh mozzarella slices.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes
