Description

A delicious and hearty sandwich featuring turkey, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese on toasted sourdough bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces of sliced turkey
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  2. Layer the turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread, mayonnaise side facing in.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  5. Once the butter is melted, place the sandwich in the skillet.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some sliced tomatoes or avocado.
  • Use a different type of cheese if desired.
  • Make sure the skillet is not too hot to avoid burning the bread.
