- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil the chopped cabbage until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked cabbage, followed by half of the spinach, and half of the creamy cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Feel free to substitute other greens like kale or Swiss chard.
