- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup cooked taco meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
- 1/4 cup salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over it.
- Add the cooked taco meat, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the toppings and cover with the second tortilla.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from the skillet, cut into wedges, and serve with sour cream and salsa.

- For a vegetarian option, use black beans or grilled vegetables instead of meat.
