Description

Delicious and chewy homemade granola bars that are perfect for a quick snack or a healthy treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the chocolate chips, dried fruits, nuts, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite mix-ins.
  • For a chewier texture, do not overbake.
