A fun and festive dessert idea for Thanksgiving, these chocolate turkeys made from strawberries are both cute and delicious.
Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries – 12
- Chocolate chips – 1 cup
- Mini candy corn – 1 cup
- Chocolate frosting – 1/2 cup
- Edible eyes – 24
Instructions
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the bottom of each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- While the chocolate is still wet, attach mini candy corn to the top of the strawberry to create the turkey feathers.
- Use chocolate frosting to attach edible eyes on the front of the strawberry.
- Let the chocolate set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy your adorable chocolate turkeys!
