A fun and festive dessert idea for Thanksgiving, these chocolate turkeys made from strawberries are both cute and delicious.


Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries – 12
  • Chocolate chips – 1 cup
  • Mini candy corn – 1 cup
  • Chocolate frosting – 1/2 cup
  • Edible eyes – 24

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Dip the bottom of each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, attach mini candy corn to the top of the strawberry to create the turkey feathers.
  5. Use chocolate frosting to attach edible eyes on the front of the strawberry.
  6. Let the chocolate set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
