Description

Christmas Oreo Balls are a delightful and festive treat made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, coated in chocolate, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz chocolate coating (white or dark)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate coating in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  6. Once the balls are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  7. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and add sprinkles if desired.
  8. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

  • For a festive touch, use colored sprinkles or crushed peppermint on top.
  • Store the Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
