Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and eggs.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples gently.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crumble ingredients: brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon.
- Fill each muffin cup with the batter and sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the crumble.
- These muffins can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Feel free to substitute the apples with other fruits like pears or berries.
