Description

Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars are a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls with a soft, chewy bar texture, topped with a creamy glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. While the bars are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Once the bars are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze on top.
  10. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • For a richer flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter.
  • These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw before serving.
