A warm and comforting casserole made with cauliflower and broccoli, perfect for cozy nights.
Ingredients

- 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
- 1 head of broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the chopped cauliflower and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the vegetables and place them in a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shredded cheese to the saucepan and stir until melted and smooth.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a healthier version, use low-fat cheese and milk.
