Description

A warm and comforting casserole made with cauliflower and broccoli, perfect for cozy nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the chopped cauliflower and broccoli for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Drain the vegetables and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the shredded cheese to the saucepan and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the casserole.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition.
