Description

A comforting and creamy casserole featuring pierogi and kielbasa, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi.
  2. Add half of the kielbasa and half of the chopped onion on top.
  3. Spread half of the sour cream and half of the cheddar cheese over the layers.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour the chicken broth over the top and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogi are tender.
  7. Stir gently before serving and enjoy!

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
