- 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi.
- Add half of the kielbasa and half of the chopped onion on top.
- Spread half of the sour cream and half of the cheddar cheese over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Pour the chicken broth over the top and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogi are tender.
- Stir gently before serving and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before cooking.
