Description

A delicious and comforting Southern-style spaghetti bake that combines creamy sauce and cheesy goodness for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. Add tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet; mix well.
  5. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce mixture.
  6. Transfer half of the spaghetti mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese over the first layer.
  8. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture and top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
  • Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
