Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package potsticker wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chopped cabbage, shrimp, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Place a small spoonful of the filling onto the center of each potsticker wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges tightly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the potstickers, cooking until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Add a splash of water to the skillet and cover to steam the potstickers for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the water evaporates and the potstickers are crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute shrimp with mushrooms or tofu.
- Make sure to seal the potstickers well to prevent the filling from leaking.
- These potstickers can be frozen before cooking for later use.
