- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2–3 green chilies, chopped
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the marinated chicken until golden brown.
- Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and sauté for a minute.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper, and cook until they are slightly tender.
- Stir in chili sauce, vinegar, and salt, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer green chilies.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Can be made with tofu for a vegetarian option.
