A quick and delicious beef stir-fry recipe that can be made in just 20 minutes, offering a taste better than takeout.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce, and stir everything together for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated for quick meals.
