Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and carrots, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the diced ham and potatoes, stirring to combine.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the milk and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then serve hot.
