- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice

- 1 package of fruit pectin
Instructions
- Prepare your jars and lids by sterilizing them in boiling water.
- In a large pot, combine diced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft, about 15 minutes.
- Add the butter and stir until melted.
- Stir in the fruit pectin and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
- Boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and ladle the jam into prepared jars.
- Seal the jars and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
- Let the jars cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.
