- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, and French onion soup. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

- For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or parsley.
