Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread diagonally in both directions to create a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the garlic herb butter mixture into the cuts of the bread.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
