Description

A deliciously cheesy and herb-infused bread that pulls apart easily, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of bread diagonally in both directions to create a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the garlic herb butter mixture into the cuts of the bread.
  5. Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
