Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Remove the turkey from the fridge and let it come to room temperature.
- Season the turkey generously with salt and black pepper, both inside and out.
- Stuff the cavity with onion, lemon, garlic, and herbs.
- Rub the softened butter all over the turkey.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken stock into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven, basting occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Let the turkey rest for at least 30 minutes before carving.
