Description

Grilled Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa is a delicious and vibrant dish that combines perfectly grilled fish with a fresh and zesty mango salsa, wrapped in soft tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the fish fillets with the spice mixture.
  4. Grill the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. While the fish is grilling, prepare the mango salsa by combining mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl.
  6. Once the fish is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  8. Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of grilled fish on the tortillas and topping with mango salsa.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use any white fish of your choice.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the salsa by adding more or less jalapeño.
  • These tacos can be served with a side of lime wedges for extra flavor.
