Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 head of lettuce (such as iceberg or butter lettuce)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  8. Serve the turkey mixture in lettuce leaves, wrapping them up like tacos.
