Instructions

  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef or turkey, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and hatch green chiles.
  5. Add chicken broth, salt, pepper, and cumin. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
