- 8 Hawaiian rolls
- 8 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- Optional: sliced tomatoes, bacon, or avocado
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and butter the outer sides.
- Place a slice of cheese on the inside of each roll.
- If desired, add any optional ingredients like tomatoes or bacon.
- Close the rolls and place them in the skillet.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding garlic powder to the butter.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for varied taste.
- Serve with a side of tomato soup for a classic pairing.
