- 2 lobsters (about 1.5 lbs each)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the lobsters in salted water for about 8-10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- Once cool, remove the meat from the lobster tails and claws, chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then whisk in the flour to create a roux.
- Gradually add the white wine and heavy cream, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the Dijon mustard, chopped lobster meat, and half of the Gruyère cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill the lobster shells with the mixture and top with the remaining Gruyère cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of brandy to the sauce.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
