- 1/2 cup beer (preferably a stout or lager)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese and beer until smooth.
- Add the shredded Irish cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan over low heat.
- Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the dip is heated through.
- Serve warm with pretzels.

- For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
