Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the skillet, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti with the ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  7. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
