- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 8–10 pounds)
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and black pepper.
- Brush the glaze generously over the ham.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
- Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
- Once done, let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
- Leftover ham can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
