Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, diced jalapeños, cooked bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Feel free to add other ingredients like diced tomatoes or bell peppers for extra flavor.
