Ingredients

  • 200g of chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of mirin
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  3. In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add soy sauce and mirin, mixing well.
  7. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and add it to the chicken and vegetable mixture.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
