Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the orzo and toast for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and add garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the orzo is tender and the broccoli is bright green.
- Remove from heat and serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.

- For added protein, consider adding cooked chicken or chickpeas.
- This dish can be made vegan by omitting the cheese.
