Oven Roasted Garlic Cabbage Steaks are a delicious and healthy side dish that brings out the natural sweetness of cabbage, enhanced with garlic and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with the garlic oil mixture.
  5. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
