- 1/2 cup maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cubed French bread to the egg mixture and gently fold until the bread is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the casserole uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
