- 2 pounds of carrots
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Peel and chop the carrots into chunks.
- Boil the carrots in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the carrots and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to the carrots.
- Smash the carrots with a potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add more milk.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of Parmesan cheese to your taste.
