Ingredients

  • 1 pound pulled pork
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the pulled pork with barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pulled pork mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top of the pork.
  6. Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
