Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 slider buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the pork in a roasting pan and pour apple cider vinegar over it.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Remove the pork from the oven and shred it using two forks.
  7. Mix the shredded pork with barbecue sauce.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard to make the slaw.
  9. Assemble the sliders by placing pulled pork on each slider bun and topping with tangy slaw.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
